Digital dental radiographs (x-rays) are a necessary part of evaluating the health of a cat’s teeth, and are performed during every dental procedure. Without dental radiographs, significant dental issues are missed in up to 75% of cases. After obtaining the dental radiographs, we are able to make recommendations to make the most successful treatment plan. 

Thanks to digital x-rays, we can evaluate every cat for:

• Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions (FORLs) 

• Bony changes to the bottom jaw (mandible) or top jaw (maxilla)

• Early changes to the teeth before they become a painful problem 

Dental radiographs can also reveal other problems lurking beneath the gums, such as foreign objects, cysts, and even tumors.
